I'm 5'8" and 170 wide shoulders athletic not bulked. I got the large because I thought sizing would be similar to backcountry welder jacket. ITS not. this jacket is baggy and not form fitting. its more of a regular non athletic fit. I would've love to try the medium but paying the shipping is not really an option at this pt. I like it but due to the cut/ fit, it will not be used as a layering jacket but an outer coat.
