Perfect shell for skiing
By Scott P.
Ranked #19 - Men's Technical Shells

After trying most every shell Arc'teryx made, this one is the one I settled on and I couldn't be happier. I wanted a shell primarily for skiing, but also just for wearing in cold weather. The fabric feels super tough, and definitely could take some abuse. The cut of their other models is distinctly alpine and as such is usually to short for skiing. This jacket is cut long enough to cover any layers I have, as well as my rear end. The hood is awesome, and covers alost your entire face when zipped up. Other than not having a powder skirt, this jacket seems perfect for skiing. Its roomy enough for layers, but stil looks pretty athletic. The mesh water bottle pocket seems to fit goggles perfectly, while the two chest pockets can fit most gloves. It took me a while and a lot of trial and error, but as far as shells go for skiing and all around use, this one is the best in my opinion.
