I have taken this pack with on 4 combat tours to Iraq and one to Afghanistan and multiple flights out to carriers. It holds my sleeping bag and inflatable mattress in the water bottle spots and 3 days worth of clothes and gear inside. It has sturdy exterior fabric, reliable zippers, and very comfortable shoulder straps and waist belt. I have pushed, shoved and dragged this on and off helicopters and C-130 and it shows little ware. The best backpack out there!
