I have the 2010 jacket in navy blue. It is the best jacket I own. My wife said that I look very good in this jacket. The fit is true to size for North Face. Im 5'10" 170lb and I have the Large with alittle room to layer. By Its self its good to about 40F, and with a light base layer is good down to freezing.

The Northface Cipher jacket is awesome. It is a great value for those who are outdoor adventurers.I returned my Mammut Ultimate Hooded Jacket in favor of the Cipher. The Cipher is made better quality wise and economically it is at least $110 less than the Ultimate. I use my Cipher hiking and extensive snowhoeing in the Adirondacks. I wear a patagonia R1 under this jacket. If it's colder out I'll throw on a Nano Puff and I'm unzipping within a mile of the hike. A great jacket. Functional and warm while doing arobic activities. Can't go wrong getting this 'gem' if you like the great outdoors..
