Hestra Heater Glove

It's not a bad glove, but for the price, I cannot recommend it.

The glove is very comfortable with a soft fleece lining. It's light, and the electronics are not intrusive at all.
The leather on the outside is very soft, almost like a dress glove that you would wear going to a restaurant on a cold evening.
The glove is NOT DURABLE. After about 7 days of use the stitching in one index finger has pulled apart when I got it caught in the binding simply slapping my skis together to carry them.
The glove is not bulky at all, like the Black Diamond Guide glove, because it has very little insulation.
If the temp is below 35 you will have to use the heater.
If the temp is below 20 and there is any wind you will need to have the heater on the highest setting (setting 3).
If it's a typical January day in Colorado with the air temp at 10 and the wind chill below 0 these gloves do not cut it.

I bought the gloves specifically for extremely cold days and they don't pass the test because, even though the heating element can get very hot, the glove does not have enough insulation to keep the heat in then the wind chill is 0 or less. In Colorado, the air temp can be 20 while the wind chill is 0.

IMO this is just a luxury glove for someone who doesn't ski in temps below 20, but always has cold hands.

I would return it, but I feel guilty returning a product I damaged, so I'm stuck with them.
