If it weren't for the totally sweet mini locking carabiner this would have been hands down my worst purchase ever from backcountry! I've had dental floss thicker than this "heavy duty climbing rope leash", and I'm a dentist. I know dental floss! SOOOO disappointed!

I think dentist should check size i.e. the diameter of the leash purchased. There are two sizes of this leash, Small 7mm thick and Large 10mm thick. I have four dobermans and the 10mm leash is amazingly tough. I have three generations of this leash and each is an improvement on the former with regards to the quality and shape of the carabiner. Only person who could floss with this leash is somebody who can eat corn through a picket fence!!!
