Zipper

This is the zipper version of the Capilene 2 shirt. I guess the zipper is a nice funtion for venting but I found it bothered me a bit so I went back to the crew style. Patagonia makes some fantastic baselayers in the Capilene 1,2,3 and 4 versions. This is the lightweight version and is a comfortable shirt to wear (except the zipper rubbed my chest), looks good and does a great job of wicking moisture. Not a warm shirt on it's own but works great as a baselayer.

Patagonia considers this a slim fit but I think of it more as an athletic fit, fits snug but not tight. It is not compression fit like some other baselayers.
