Marmot Ama Dablam Down Jacket - Men's

Item #MAR1523 | 22 in Stock
5 Star Rating

Super toasty especially for the weight

By Ranked #125 - Men's Down Jackets January 18, 2011

I love this jacket. Took it up Rainier this past July. Super toasty and weighs nothing. Cut to fit over layers. I had base, fleece, softshell, and hardshell all underneath. But it's not huge when I wanna just wear it out in the city. Do yourself a favor and get this jacket.

800 fill refers to the fill power (quality) of the down, not the amount. The Ama Dablan has 4.4 ounces of 800 fill down...therefore if you took all the down out of the jacket and let it fully expand it would fill 3,520 cubic inches of space. The Marmot 8000M Parka on the other hand has 19 ounces of 800 fill down so its down would fill 15,200 cubic inches of space...now that's a huge jacket.
