Decent Shoe

I haven't used these on steep slopes yet, but first impressions on rolling terrain are fairly good. The heel riser makes quite a difference on inclines. The crampons bit into all kinds of snow and ice. They are aluminum so stomping rocks and trees may not be a smart choice. Float was well even in the super wet snow we get in the Pacific North West. Got these on SAC for a screamin' deal. Very happy!
