I bought these before a cat skiing trip and was not let down. The best sounding headphones I've ever had. I've used sony's, a bunch of skullcrappy's and Nixon headphones and these are by far the best sounding. Nixon was the closest for second place. These things seem bullet proof but they make my head feel huge. I can barely get my analog jacket hood over them. That is the only reason they didnt get 5 stars
