i've worn merrell trainers for many years so quite confident of their quality i bought these boots.i've only ever worn them as a dress boot so they have never had any abuse so to tell you the truth i was very disturbed to find that the boots started to part at a joint seem along the side of the right boot. I contacted Merrell to find if the boots could be returned and repaired but to no avail which is a shame for there is littlle to no wear on the soles. I hope others have faired better than myself.

I also have a pair of these boots and WAS very happy with them utill the front side of my right boot unglued. I couldn`t believe it because i wear them in the city. This is my second winter and in the middle of it they start to give up. I don`t know what is the problem ind don`t know how to fix it.
