Right now the backup until my main headlamp dies…

By Backcountry.com Employee January 8, 2011

I keep one of these in my car, and usually one of these with me as a backup when camping, hiking, biking, or climbing. Comes in a small package and is really lightweight. You can throw it in your pocket or clip the container to a belt loop or strap. Keep in mind that the clip is a closed loop, so whatever you're putting it on has to thread through it.

Right now my main headlamp is the Petzl TacTikka XP Adapt Headlamp, but if it ever breaks, is lost, or goes the way of the earth, I'll probably not buy a new one and just use the e-Lite as my main headlamp from then on. Solid buy.
