I accidentally commented on an older thread, but i'll say a review for these coats again here, in general. This is the perfect winter coat for anybody. These coats have also been consistently popular for us guys as well over the years. I don't know about any new changes that occurred since the one version I am familiar with, but if it is the same as older versions, I can't recommend it enough for males and females alike. It looks cool, and it is super warm. Good Job North Face, and Backcountry for stocking them!

so agree - it's a great coat i also have the 2005 version which is much more feminine although still love wearing it - just wish it has a faux-fur hood

Which version do you have? I'm a guy and I'm interested in the last generation one, the longer version that looks like this year's model. What's your opinion on it? Does anyone ask you about the coat?
