Great Sleeping Bag for Lightweight Backpacking!
By Rodger Ironman84
Ranked #236 - 55 to 30 Degree Down Bags
January 5, 2011
I'm a big guy (5'10", 240) and I love this bag! I used it on two one-week hikes on the Appalachian Trail and it was super. On the first hike during the summer I just used the Yampa and a Thermarest sleeping pad which fit into the sleeping bag perfectly. I was extremely comfortable and I loved the idea of having the sleeping bag and sleeping pad integrated into one system. I no longer roll off the pad a half a dozen times throughout the night. Over Thanksgiving week, I used the Yampa as an outer bag over another down bag and I was toasty as can be. I highly recommend this sleeping bag!!!
