Great jacket, not really what I wanted

I ordered this jacket for my husband as a layer under his Theta-AR-something shell, and when it came, it was basically another "jacket", not something warm for underneath a shell, even though the description said microfleece and "layering". It was really nice, cool color, and cut - but like many Arcteryx jackets, there was nothing to it, in the Northeast, I would freeze in it! So I sent it back for more of a fleece.
