Strap not for use where it counts...

I just got an Observer watch with one of these bands, which looks really nice.
However, in order to size the band, you have to cut links out and replace the closure. This means the band is NOT adjustable.
SO, if you (like me) want to go diving and put this on over you wetsuit, you cannot.
If you are going skiing or trekking in the backcountry and you want to put this over a layer or two of clothes, so you can see it without having to pull up your jacket and take of your gloves, you cannot.
That makes this band ideal for wearing around the office but def. not useful in the backcountry or anywhere else...
