These are, hands down the best investment I've ever made for winter/early spring hikes. For snowshoeing they keep my boots dry and snow-pack free. They work excellent with La Sportiva Trango S Evo boots.
Have held up to once full winter, spring and summer. Used them in the 14ers of Colorado this summer and they show little signs of slowing down.
I would not considered buying another brand/style of gaiter (the crocs expedition gaiters not included). The Gore-Tex is priceless as is this piece of gear in any outdoor enthusiasts toolbox.
