If you are wanting a North Face fleece and don't want to drop $170 for the Denali this is your jacket. Still has the 300 weight fleece but does not have the panels like the Denali. Works great for layering or a stand alone jacket on mild days when the wind isn't howling.

Could not agree more - was going to write a review but figured I would just 2nd yours. I bought this primarily to zip into my original Mountain Jacket but also wear it standalone. As Mike said it's not at all windproof- just know that going in- but works really well under a shell or by itself on a calm day.
