I have an older version of this jacket, sans pit-zips and with pockets placed lower on the jacket. I've been wearing it for...at least three years and it is still my go to jacket for when performance matters. eVent is a vastly superior fabric (I've tried them all) and breaths very well. The only thing that would make this jacket better, in my opinion, would be a powder skirt. It's an expensive shell, but it will last a very long time.

Just noticed they added the powder skirt to newer versions. Buy this jacket!
