So I have been loving this jacket for a few months now. Living in Bavaria, I have the great opportunity to ski, mountaineer, and bike just outside my door. This jacket has held up to all I have put it through. I bought a snall (I usually wear a xs or small at 5' 4'', 115) with the intent of using this as an outer layer. It runs a bit large, but for the intended purpose it works great. It is wicked waterproof. The hood is large enough to fit a helmet underneath, but has great bungees that allow it to be tightened to fit just about anyone. the hood also has a wire type brim that you can form to keep the rain or snow out of your face. The jacket vents well. The only problem I have had is that the zipper tends to catch on the fabric, hence the 4 star instead of 5 star rating. I really do love the pockets, as they don't get obscured by the hip belt on most packs. I would buy again in a heart beat, even at full price.
