Arc'teryx Atom SV Insulated Hoody - Men's

Item #ARC1032 | 124 in Stock
5 Star Rating

Great Jacket

By Ranked #501 - Men's Synthetic Insulation Jackets December 11, 2010

I was debating between this jacket and the Atom Lt. I really like versatility of the 100 grams of insulation. Works as a great layering piece or can be worn on its own for almost every day of the winter here in the Rocky Mountains. The jacket feels very light on. Packs down really small. The main zipper is very smooth. The elastic on the cuffs are perfect. The hand warmer pockets have a nice fleece patch for the back of your hands. A couple of things I like over the Atom Lt. The Sv has really soft fleeced lined chin area. The Sv also has a fully adjustable hood were the Lt has no adjustments. 2 huge pluses for me. The jacket fits perfect in medium. 5`10 - 160lbs. I have the Alpha Lt shell in medium and the Sv fits perfect under it. Another amazing jacket from Arc'teryx

The atom SV has the same sleeve length as the Alpha LT. Perfect combo

Wait, let me change that question. You wear the SV in a medium - I really meant, are the SV sleeves too long at all?

I am about the same dimensions. Out of curiosity, what size SV would you wear then? Also, the LT sleeves aren't too long in medium? I tend to have that problem as a 5'10" guy.
