Gear Review
a feather!

First impressions: Holy smokes this thing is light! My XL weighed in at 9oz. They material is very supple. This is replacing a very worn Marmot Precip which I loved. Storm flap is just a stiff piece of material, no velcro tabs. Has good length (Im almost 6-3) in the arms and overall length. My first piece of technical MH gear, looking fwd to seeing how it works. I am a minimalist hiker and the rainshell is often used for warmth over a long sleeve midwt top for onthemove clothing. Will bump to 5star if it performs well. The color is my only complaint and pushes my "function over form" belief to the edge of the envelope, I look like a european hitman LOL.
