Gear Review
Great for active use, not good if you're not active

Ranked #1461 - Men's Down Jackets
December 8, 2010
I bought the Catalyst down 'jacket' about a week ago to keep me warm while walking to work and without looking like a marshmallow; two days it was 23* F at 7 AM and I nearly froze with this, a long sleeve dress shirt, and an undershirt. This piece is definitely more of a 'down sweater' type jacket; would be great for active winter sports as a MIDLAYER.
Piece is very high quality, Pertex fabric is incredibly nice and tough, and is down-proof. 800 fill down is really nice, but there's just not quite enough of it.
Will be returning and looking for something else.
