Gear Review
Nice and warm, but narrow

This is an extremely warm jacket...especially for how thin it is. I'm wearing it as my primary jacket here in the mountains of Afghanistan. Lows in the low 20's so far. So far it has worked great. My only two issues are that it fits perfectly everywhere but under the arms. Not a huge deal, but when you reach for something you can definately feel some restriction. The other minor issur is that the zipper seems to be a bit difficult to initially zip. This might be because it is a dual zip (zips from the bottom up as well) but not sure. I will say being able to zip up the bottom zipper is a really nice feature. Overall great so far, just remember that you might consider going up a size. Oh...hand pockets don't zip either.

Was wanting this jacket. Guess I should order a size up, seems thats the only beef I have with these Euro lines is tight in the shoulders and armpits. Is shiny like a trash bag or more muted? Thanks
