Nice jacket

I purchased the black mens medium North Face Verdi Down Jacket in 2007 at REI. The zipper no longer zips up so I am sending it to North Face to see if they will fix it under warranty, or if I need to pay for the repair. The North Face warranty web site states typical return is 3-4 weeks, and during peak times it could be as long as 6 weeks. Plus the time it takes me to ship it to North Face in California. Plus I pay shipping and insurance. Other than this, I have been happy to the jacket. I live in Chicago area and it keeps me warm, including my 1.5 mile daily walk all winter. There is a little zipper pocket in the sleeve with an included cloth to wipe your glasses. The hood is great. When it snows on me, the down stays dry. The jacket fits snugly. It looks fashionable.
