The one I have works great.

I've used it in huge wind, soldered wires in a pinch, lit wet tinder, and lit my stove at altitude. Maybe I have a good one, made on a wednesday. At 2800M all I had to do was turn the gas down a bit for it to work as usual. I admit, I'm a gear nut, but it has to work, or it stays home. It also last a long time on a fill, which is nice.
