Great boots

Ranked #45 - Alpine Touring Boots

Finally time to right up a review. I have had 3 days now touring in the BD Primes. I am very pleased with the performance and fit of these boots. Took a bit of work to really dial in the size/fit but was lucky to have BD headquarters and store here in Utah to help out. I would recommend that you work with a very good boot fitter to make sure you sizing is correct and to assist in heat molding the liner. The staff at BD took the time to get the exact fit. I was sizing between a 27,5 and 28. With the recommendation of BD, I went with the 27.5. BD did some work on the right boot to add some room in the toe box. In addition to the proper heat mold of the liner and a few days of skiing, the boot is fitting really well and is very comfortable touring.
Great consistent flex, great performance.

This response may be well too late. But I have been skiing these with Dynafit Manaslu. After a season in these I feel they are very capable of skiing any backcountry ski. Stiff enough, but for me, not overly stiff.,

I have these with dynafit and the old're, stiffer kilowatts. I'm not an amazing skier, but I think the boots are sufficient.

Wondering what ski you're using these with? I'm thinking of picking up a pair to go with some BD KIllowatt's, wondering if they'll be enough boot?
