It's a lightweight powerstretch, so not really that warm by itself if you're not moving. The waistband is super comfortable, not really tight like a lot of nike and underarmour items, which is a huge plus if you're wearing them for a long period. My only problem is the flap doesn't close very well when you're wearing them, so you have to swim with a risk of nudity...
