A pretty good multi-tool

I've owned many SOG knives - they've been through war and they've held up fine. If you're looking for a good multi-tool and this has the tools package you're looking for I'd recommend it. The powerassist is nice and works very well. If you're actually getting this for EOD or demo work then you ought to know that the blasting camp crimper is not authorized for military use. That said, I'm sure most of us have used the Gerber or other unapproved crimper and been just fine. In my opinion the difference here could be the stand-off from the crimper. I'm not sure I like it underneath and closer to my fingers rather than incorporated in with the pliers like on the Gerber. It may not be a huge difference in distance but if a blasting cap goes off when you're crimping it it could, very well, make a difference as to how many fingers you're going to lose. This, however, doesn't bother me too much because I carry a set of M2 crimpers on my kit regardless and use my multi-tool as a multi-tool (and maybe a crimper in a pinch). But, again, if you're just in the market for a good multi-tool (especially if this is up on SAC again) this one is definitely worth the money.
