Gear Review
This jacket rules!

After over 150 days of abuse (alpine and backcountry skiing, ski mountaineering and ice climbing), I'm finally replacing this ace jacket.
This jacket totally delivers in every way: aesthetics, fit, waterproofness, packability, and design features including the hand gaiters and adjustable hood.
I'm trying to find another shell jacket that I can afford (got my Norrona jacket on SAC) but nobody has the style + function right like Norrona.
After 150+ days, I've had welds open up, have worn some holes almost entirely through the Gore-Tex, and had the hood wire poke through the shell fabric. All wear seems totally reasonable for the amount of time I've spent in this jacket.
Thanks, Norrona!
