Cheaper than all, better than most

Ranked #7 - Carabiners, Quickdraws, and Belay Devices

This draw has wiregate functionality, color coded carabiners, a fat and stiff dogbone with straightjacket, BD's unsurpassed quality control, AND ONLY COSTS $11!!! Comparable draws from other companies cost $13-18.
If you're trying to get into sport leading, get 10-12 of these; they perform well, and and are light and versatile enough to transition nicely as you expand your rack and pursue other types of climbing.
The only bad thing about these draws is that they are strenuous to clean from overhanging and/or wandering climbs. For that type of stuff, I'd recommend the Hotwire or Livewire draws, which are significantly pricier but a nice step up. I really like the improved safety and weight of a wiregate carabiner for my rope end.
Hope that was a help
