Don't expect these to fit like adult climbing shoes. I have small feet for a woman (size 6), so I buy kids shoes all the time, and I thought it was worth a try for the price. I got a size 4 and it was probably the right size in length - maybe I could've gone a little smaller - but the toe didn't fit snug at all. I don't have narrow feet either. You can tighten the sides with the velcro, but not the toe area. And tightening the heel kinda hurt. If your kid has wide feet or just wants some comfortable rubber, they're not bad, but that wasn't quite what I was looking for.
