Does it all, every day

By Backcountry.com Vendor Rep Ranked #5 - Big Mountain Freeride Skis October 30, 2010

I mounted up a pair of Rubys with Marker F10 tours last winter and have skied them in a host of conditions since. The Ruby is super light for its size, making for easy climbing on long tours. At 111 underfoot, I've found it wide enough to provide great float in Utah and Jackson pow, as well as late season Sierra and Cascade slush. The ski has a nice medium flex, which is stiff enough to power through variable snow, but didn't beat me up when skiing sun cups at the bottom of a huge descent on Shasta. I've only skied it a few times inbounds on groomers, but the traditional camber and medium sidecut did a nice job when I did. Overall, I absolutely love how versatile and fun the Ruby is - a true one ski quiver.

Rom, I just ordered some 180 Rubys to mount BD01s on them and not sure what skins to get...What skins are you using? They look like BD, does the nose wire fit well or did you have to do some improvising? Does anyone else know what skins will work easily with the Moment Ruby's?
