I just received these, I ordered a women's size 4 which typically would fit me. In Patagonia I wear an XS/S, but these are very tight in the waist and I have a smaller waist. The legs were great but the entire upper pant is tiny. I really liked the pants a lot, they have a bit of insulation in the upper thighs but do not feel bulky and you can adjust the waist. I would definitely order a size up.
