Have to agree with Mary.... The elastic around the armholes and the stiching design on the vest give it a weird look.
I'm 5'7" and ordered a small and it was too large in the torso. I prefer a slim fitted vest over a boxy look. Had to send this one back.

That's because this vest was actually designed for the outdoors and to keep you warm, and not to be a status symbol for the other 3rd Graders/Sorority girls (same thing really).
