I love the Roctane, but I am also addicted to caffeine. This stuff works. It's important to follow the directions and if you do, you will never bonk. Sometimes I think I could live off of this stuff. The Roctaine is definitely for the caffeine feen. If you don't drink a lot of coffee, you might get the jitters. Be careful, this is powerful stuff. And I must warn you about GU belly. It is important to drink tons of water while you are using Gu or the Gu will congeal in your stomach leaving you feeling a little sick.

I was given one when I ran the Pinhoti 100, and it made my eyes open wide..!! I'm not a big caffiene person so this stuff really gave me a nice burst of energy.

I love the Roctane, too, for the citrates and aminos, but I just cannot justify the price over the regular GU or the Clif Shots. And if you want a caffiene boost in your energy gel, try the new Chocolate Cheery Turbo Shot from Clif...100mg of caffiene! ZOOM!

Very helpful review. I was a bit concerned about the caffeine content, since I don't drink coffee very often, and you answered my question before I even had to ask it.
