rugged boot, not waterproof

my needs are simple, rugged, waterproof, and worth the price.
the comfort of this boot is top notch. great stability, incredible support. my feet don't hurt after a long day of hiking. but, after 8 months of average use, they leak. bummer. i expected more from such a great, and expensive boot.
