prAna Bronson Pant - Men's

decent, not great

By Ranked #249 - Men's Casual Pants October 2, 2010

good weight to wear around, cotton similar to khakis and cut similar to jeans. i'm 6'1" and 180lbs, i normally wear a 32, 33 or 34 depending on the pant. i wear a 32 in these and have sufficient room to fit a hand inside the waistband. at the same time, when i squat down or sit in a chair, the legs are a little tight in the thigh area near the upper leg/crotch. i would prefer a more generous cut, especially from a pant that is gusseted (ie. the gusset might as well not even be there with this pant). prana also cuts their length to the waist size (rather than making lengths) this is annoying because if i bought the 33 or 34, that's a pretty long inseam, and even the 32 is generous in length.. you gotta be pretty tall, or willing to get them hemmed to make the larger waist sizes work.
i wish i could have tried a 33 just to check the fit, but i could already fit a hand in the waistband as i said..

got these for my boyfriend to use when bouldering.. hes the same height and a bit heavier, so sized up to the 34, and still has the same problem with a loose waist and tight thighs (especially when climbing)
