these are a solid choice for the 10 to 30 day a year rider or someone looking for a more forgiving ride. ive been riding a snowboard for quite a few years and i always have rode with skiiers so i decided to take the plunge back into skiing about two years ago to mix things up. i picked these because i thought they wouldnt kill me being way too stiff like a 120 or 130 flex that alot of the top notch boots get into and i am happy that i did. admittedly im a pretty average skiier but these do the job well enough and are actually a lot more comfortable than i thought and even better than my snowboard boots when im riding. i feel confident that these will take care of me when i am finally able to leave the snowboard behind on a hike. over all the construction looks pretty good and has held up very well to the limited abuse ive ran these through. the buckles are kinda goofy but seem to do just fine- they kinda seem like theyre bigger than you you really need but havent been an issue for me. width wise id say theyre perfect. i actually have a pretty wide foot and that was also part of my consideration for picking up these. for someone who has worn EE hockey skates most of my life i was even a little concerned with 100 mm but that was unfounded as these felt good out of the box and even better now theyre broken in. for the price i would highly recommend these straight forward boots.
