Must be a design flaw

Normally, Im a big fan of Costa Del Mar. However, I purchased the Wheelhouse with 580 lens last year. After a couple months, one of the lenses popped out of the frame. I tried setting the lens back into the frame, but it did not hold. I figured it was just a defective pair. I exchanged it for another Wheelhouse 580. After having the second pair for a couple months, the lens popped out of the frame again. I returned the second pair for good. Probably a flaw in the design of the frame that just does not hold the lens properly.

Hi Mike, This is Jeff Costa. I am sorry to hear about your experience with the Wheelhouse. It is such a nice frame style and has always been a strong sunglass in our collection. Back in 2010 we did have an issue with that frame containing our 580G lens. We hand build all of our frames in Daytona Beach and sometimes it takes more than our product testers to catch an issue like this. We have since resolved this issue. We stand by all Costa product with a lifetime guarantee. I know it must have been frustrating for you but it would have been taken care of by us that second time. Once again, please accept our apologies. Remember to see what's out there and get out on the water!
