Ranked #18 - Men's Hiking and Climbing Pants
September 3, 2010
The three pairs of Paramounts I bought are still going strong. The waterproofing needs to be redone, but they still make killer backpacking gear. Side thigh pocket is perfect for todays smartphones, the ankle zips mean you don't have to remove your boots, and the minimalist belt works under pack waist straps. The front cargo pockets are oddly placed, since anything you put in there wacks you on the thigh repeatedly while you walk. Other than that.. great pair of pants to add to your gear stable.
