I am female and bought the men's small because the women's were sold out in my size. The arms are LONG, but it doesn't bother me. I like the way it fits and it doesn't itch at all. It is soft against the skin. Very warm underlayer. I like Merino wool because it is naturally warm and doesn't hold body odor like synthetic fabric.
