Gear Review
Also disappointed.

For the price, this jacket falls short. Just as the others say, there is NO down in the shoulders, causing my shoulders to get very cold, very quickly. I thought that shelling out that kind of money would guarantee me a good jacket.. but I was wrong. The rest of the coat is very warm, and I can't really complain, (although the velcro on the front started tearing apart after about a month of use).
Bottom line, it looks great.. makes me sweat in cold weather, but is ultimately flawed. The shoulders and back of the coat are cut too small, causing these large "cold spots," and for a $600+ coat, that really shouldn't happen.
I'd support a more locally owned place that specializes in warm gear.. and preferably one that doesn't use fox fur on the hood!
Cheers and happy searching.
