Very well thought out....

Ranked #380 - Weekend Packs (3000-4500 cu in)
August 26, 2010
This is a minimalist pack. It has a light flexible frame. I would actually hesitate to even call this a framed pack, but it is not quite a true frame-less pack. It does have an extendable collar or sleeve, but the lid doesn't float, so I am not really sure the purpose of this extension. I guess it allows you to stuff it a little further. The description says it has 2 side pockets and one rear top pocket... for some reason I could not find 2 side pockets on mine. It just has the normal lid pocket, (and one on the underside of the lid), and a big zip on the front that allows the user to gain access to the main compartment of the pack. It also has a mini pocket on the inside near the hydration pocket. (sort of like the cilogear packs, if you are familiar with those). Oh, unlike the description says, this pack IS hydration compatible. It does have a strap that goes across the top opening of the pack. This can be used as a rope catch.
It also has two rugged straps on the bottom side of the pack (one on each side), that allow for the carrying of skis. Nice touch.
