Love these pants

Ranked #385 - Women's Hiking Pants
August 15, 2010
This is the first pair of pants that I have found in a while that have a high enough rise so that they actually stay up when I am bending and sitting. I also like the adjustable waist (but sometimes I accidentally open the clasps) and think that the waist to hip ratio is very good. I think that the size is perfect if you follow the size chart and measure yourself correctly (I am 26-1/2 waist and 36 hips and I got the small). The fabric is lightweight but still heavy enough to be able to wear year round whereas some of my other pants are too light to wear in the winter. I do wish that there were a few more pockets that zipped or snapped close since that would make them better for travelling. These pants actually feel like they are cut for a woman - I am tired of pants that barely fit in the hips and are really large in the waist. Overall I am very happy with these pants.
