This stuff does as advertised, it spurts out DEET and that keeps (most) of the mosquitoes off. Alaskan mosquitoes are a special breed, so I expected a less than 100% avoidance success rate. My only complaint is that the pump action is more of a stream than a spray, so you can get wasteful if you're spraying on your clothes as it just gets spots rather than a wider area. For skin you can just spray on your hands and rub.

I was hoping to find a northern persons view. On my last few trips in the Ontario backwoods, The current favs of Deepwoods and Off did not seem to do anything. I need to find a stronger formula. Remember the old squirt bottles of Muskol? Get that stuff close to your mouth, and your lips went numb.. Never got a bite then, and I lived in Labrador
