This monster is full rockered, and I gave it a whirl to try that type of ski. The Katana is incredible! I found it was very stable, did any type of turn I wanted, and was great in all terrain. Quite a fun ski. Also the Katana promotes slarving over carving. One of my favorite skis I demoed.

I grew up in the midwest knowing of your crystal mtn, but there is another one out west that averages 30 feet of snow http://www.skicrystal.com/The-Mountain/Mountain-stats

After you Demo'd the 183 Katana's do you feel that was too much ski? Would you rather go with the 176's? I'd like your opinion but did you demo the elsewhere as well? No offense but your title yourself and expert skier but you demo'd the skis at Crystal Mountain. I don't even know why you would need such a powder ski in the Midwest.
