I bought these in petite and they fit PERFECT. Royal Robbins always has a nice fit for me and sizes well. The material is so comfortable, stretchy, but it doesn't give the appearance of a stretchy pant. They have a wonderful casual look, pair nicely with most blouses or shirts. I love the roll up cuffs - and they have a slight flair when full length. I was amazed they didn't look funny when rolled - they look like typical capri pants. Even my 15 year old thinks they are cute.

I have been searching all year for a good pair of canvas pants that 1) don't make me look like I'm wearing my brother's pants and 2)that actually fit. This Sidney pant is it! I love them. I have a body type that is hard to find a good fit for--I'm short (5'2") and though I have a smallish waist, my legs and rear end are muscular. With the exception of low-cut pants that ride on my upper hip line, I usually suffer from the waistband gap (i.e., pants that fit me through the thigh and butt are too big in the waist). Maybe it it the stretchy material that allows these pants to fit perfectly. Normally I would not want the stretch factor, but they were on sale and the design looked cute so I ordered them. They have just the merest hint of stretch--enough to enhance the comfort factor (100% canvas material can be so unyielding), but not so stretchy that I feel like I'm wearing yoga pants (which some stretch material does). The leg is nicely fitted and has a sweet flare at the bottom. My only sorrow is that these pants are in the virtual clearance bin, which presumably means Royal Robins has stopped making them. Alas.
