What a great boat! stable as can be and glides beautifully thru the water. The hull provides for good straight line steerage and equipped with the high-end Ocean Kayak seats it is very comfortable. Because of the broad surface area it draws very little water 1.5 - 2 " great for shallow rapids and exploring shallow back waters.
We paddled out into the lake, jumped off and could easily climb back in the boat without it flipping and we are not experts. This is a great family boat.
