I used to buy Salomon bindings, then switched to rossignol. I bought the original jesters(all white, and have rode them for three years with almost no issues. The one issue I had is the little plastic plate that covers the DIN setting popped off, but not really a big deal. Changing the DIN is sanp on these especially compared to Rossis. I used to have the DIN at 15 at the end of last season, until a cornice jump mishap left with a badly sprained ankle. With a DIN that high it was def my own fault( a 15 DIN probably isnt ideal for hitting jumps). Now I keep at 12 or 13 and have never had any pre-release issues. One of the things I love about them is the easiness of clicking in. Despite snow, or slope angle they always seem pretty easy to get into, unlike Rossis. I love them and will most likley be riding Markers for a long time to come

I agree. However coming from a pair of Rossis or Salomons, the Jesters din at 9 I think is comparable to another bindings at 11. Maybe it's just me. I start the season with the DIN around 9 and work my way up. However I think that for myself in March that a 12 or 13 din works pretty well.

Careful... I keep mine at a 8 or 9. If you're meant to come out, you're meant to come out. In case anyone else is reading this thinking more is better - not the case on DIN. If at all unsure - take your skis to a respected shop and discuss your skiing style before having them adjust your bindings for you.
